Survey seeks opinion of older people

Age Cymru and Age Alliance Wales are in the process of gathering the opinions of those who work with older people on the impact of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.

They are interested in the Act’s effect on older people (aged 50+) in a range of areas, including care needs assessments and reviews, social service provision and design, and information and advice services.

An online survey has been developed. Results will be compared with the survey undertaken two years ago. It should take no more than fifteen minutes to complete.

Mind Aberystwyth has commissioned the social and economic research company Wavehill to look at the feasibility of developing a local green-house-based growing service within the Aberystwyth area. In simple terms, the service would involve allowing individuals the opportunity to spend time in a large greenhouse in the Aberystwyth area undertaking activities relating to the planting and growing of vegetables, herbs and plants, with the aim of improving their wellbeing. We are currently looking to establish demand via this short survey.

There are two surveys one for beneficiaries and one for service users
