Volunteering

We offer information on a wide range of voluntary opportunities throughout Ceredigion. It is important that everyone can volunteer if they choose to do so.

People volunteer for many different reasons:

  1. meet new people,
  2. gain work experience,
  3. learn new skills,
  4. help other people in the community,
  5. gain access to training or to "just get out of the house.

Registering with CAVO Volunteer Bureau is free and you'll receive regular information on volunteer vacancies, training and issues that affect volunteers e.g. volunteering while receiving benefits.

The Bureau has special interest projects for volunteers:

The Bureau also recruits volunteers for Ceredigion Social Services department.
