CAVO's main priority is to work with the voluntary sector in Ceredigion:
To promote and develop the capacity of the voluntary sector through the delivery of a range of support services including information, advice, and training.
To support voluntary organisations and encourage good practice.
To develop volunteering projects and to support and promote good practice in volunteering.
To encourage co-operation and collaboration between voluntary organisations.
To encourage and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between voluntary sector, statutory sector and private sector.
To develop and support new initiatives to satisfy unmet needs.
To empower local communities by building their capacity to participate in development.
To support voluntary organisations that are operating as social enterprises.
To identify, interpret and articulate the concerns of the voluntary sector.
