This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation dedicated to providing specialist support to adults and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
As a Refuge support worker you will be working with adults, children and young people in Refuge and throughout Ceredigion who are or have experienced domestic abuse.
The role is very rewarding. No two days are ever the same and the successful candidate will need to be patient, prepared to listen and be non-judgemental.
The post is for 30 hours per week for 12 months on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2019 with possible extension depending on future funding. The post is £15,392 – £16,500 (dependent on experience) pro-rata including on call which equates to between £12,480 and £13,378 per annum.
The ability to speak and write Welsh is desirable for this role.
