Location – Ceredigion, West Wales

Hours – 1 x 16hrs

Package: Fixed term, 31st March 2018

Salary:  £14,715 + (full time)

£7,567.71 + (part time)


The Red Cross Ceredigion Carers Support Service offers practical and emotional support to carers aged 18 and above throughout the community. The service acts as a focal point for carers to access appropriate advice, support and relevant information and hosts events that include training and leisure opportunities. We are looking for a positive, energetic and enthusiastic person to join the team as a Carers Support Worker.

This post is initially fixed term until 31st March 2018 but will be ongoing subject to the renewal of funding.

You will receive regular briefings, team meetings, supervisions, training and support. We provide a structured induction with all the in service training you will require.

You will be committed to achieving excellent standards of service delivery in a supportive, caring and professional manner to enable you to achieve high quality person centred support at all times.

You will be accustomed to delivering a service over a wide geographical area (Ceredigion) and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with good ICT skills.

If successful, you will be joining a forward thinking, supportive and empowering Area team, working towards creating an excellent working environment for staff and volunteers and delivering high quality services.
