The Caring Communities Grant Scheme

The Scheme is calling for project ideas in Ceredigion that build community capacity and resilience in order to develop services and support that will:

  • promote emotional health and wellbeing,
  • bring people of all ages together and help them build social connections,
  • enable people to maintain their independence and remain at home, avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions and delayed discharges;
  • offer early support and prevent the escalation of needs.

The Scheme will consider funding 100% of project costs up to £20,000. The funding is primarily for revenue costs. It must be demonstrated that any capital costs included are critical to the success of the project.

Application Deadlines:

  • Round 1 – 31st July 2023, 5pm
  • Round 2 – 29th September 2023, 5pm

Applications will be assessed and grant award notification sent within one month of the application deadline.
